Magda Krysztoforska -Beucher

Magda Krysztoforska - Beucher is a Polish soprano, born in Warsaw, Poland.
She graduated Cum Laude from The F. Chopin University of Music and Accademia D’Arte Lirica d’Osimo, Italy. She gained first professional experience during the studies: J. A. Hasse, „I Pellegrini al sepolcro di Nostro Signore” (Agapito) - Collegium Nobilium Theater in Warsaw; B. Britten, „A midsummer night’s dream” (Cobweb) - Teatr Wielki – National Opera in Warsaw; C. Monteverdi, “L’incoronazione di Poppea” (Fortuna) – Collegium Nobilium Theater in Warsaw. Magda participated in various master classes led by Vincenzo DeVivo, William Matteuzzi, Ala Simoni, Anna Vandi, Raina Kabaivanska, Lella Cuberli and Teresa Żylis-Gara.
In 2013 she made her professional debut as Lucia in B. Britten’s “The rape of Lucretia” in PAP Factory in Warsaw and a year after in Miscolc National Theater in Hungary.
Since 2013 she works in the Warsaw National Philharmonic where she sings the leading roles such as Dorina in Chiarini’s “Il geloso schernito”, Marenka in Smetana’s “Bartered bride” and Serpina in Paisiello’s „La serva Padrona” in opera productions for children.
She won a second prize at 11’ Internazionale Concorso Musicale "Citta' di Pesaro 2014". In 2014 she made her Italian debut as Sandman (E. Humperdinck „Hansel& Gretel”) at Teatro La Nuova Fenice where in the last two years she participated in opera production such as Bizet’s “Carmen” (Micaela) in 2015 as well as a concert version of Massenet’s “Manon” (Manon) and Gounod’s “Faust” (Marguerite) in 2016.
In 2015 she made her debut Teatro dell’Opera di Roma as Masa in Tchaikovsky’s “Queen of spades” with Maestro James Conlon from Los Angeles Opera. In the same year she sang at Opera Gala with C. Muti in Maiolati Spontini Theater in Italy and had her debut at Warsaw Chamber Opera as Marenka in Smetana’s “Bartered bride”.
In September 2016 Magda sang Isabella in Respighi’s opera “Re Enzo” at Maiolati Spotini Festival in Jesi. In 2016/2017 season she will sing Wanda in Kurpiński’s opera “Czorsztyn castle” in the Warsaw National Philharmonic and Madeleine in Pál Ábrahám’s “Ball im Savoy” in Lublin Music Theater. In June 2017 she participated in China Tournee of opera quartet “Opera Team”.
She performed in theaters and concert halls in United States and in many European countries (Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, Spain).
